Sheffield Wednesday are finally looking to add some new players to their roster in the final stages of the transfer window.
The Owls have eliminated transfer embargoes on money owed to both players and other teams in the form of transfer fees, allowing them to recruit players more freely.
According to the Sheffield Star, Wednesday have instantly targeted Manchester United’s Harry Amass and Toby Collyer, who are both available on loan this summer.
Despite the fact that their embargoes have been lifted, the Steel City team is not completely out of trouble. Any new players will need to be cleared by the EFL Club Financial Reporting Unit.
Sheffield Wednesday fan commentator Patrick McKenna believes the move would be beneficial to the Owls.
Sheffield Wednesday are told to continue their chase of Harry Amass and Toby Collyer

“One thing that Amass and Collyer do have,” Patrick added. “Although they are both young players, they come from a strong lineage.
“If you come through Manchester United’s system, there must be something about you, and both have started games for the club. So, I believe that a loan move for these two would provide them with a legitimate opportunity to demonstrate their abilities. It will be a difficult season for the athletes.
“I believe they would receive a reasonable number of games and could truly shine in a tough division if they could stand up. I assume there is some danger in the agreement as well. If they aren’t near to Championship level, they’ll find it too difficult.

| Toby Collyer | 6 | 175 | 0 | 0 | 6.93 |
“But what do we stand to lose? We must keep in mind that due to the fee constraints, the number of participants that can participate will be limited. It’s not a typical season.
“If these two young guys come in, we simply need to get behind them and see what they can achieve. It could turn out to be a far better signing than you would expect.
“We brought in Charlie McNeill as a young player last season, but it did not work. However, you cannot criticize these signings for these young players. So perhaps they will come in and demonstrate what they can do this season.”
Sheffield Wednesday will be pleased to welcome new reinforcements

Henrik Pedersen’s side demonstrated in their 2-1 defeat to Leicester City that they are determined to contend fiercely this season, fueled by the summer’s misery.
However, the Owls have lost a significant amount of quality as a result of their financial problems, which will become apparent as the season unfolds.
As a result, it is critical that they manage to contribute enough in the last stages of the window.
Bringing in two brilliant, driven, and intriguing young prospects from Manchester United would bring some hope for fans, which hasn’t happened much in recent years.
