Last month, LaRoma24 covered interest from West Ham and Leeds United in AS Roma striker Artem Dovbyk.
More recently, Daniel Farke’s side have been repeatedly mentioned as a candidate to sign the Ukraine international, who is likely to be out of Roma’s project under new manager Gian Piero Gasperini.
Il Messaggero report on the 28-year-old today, and add Sunderland to the mix.
The newspaper claim Dovbyk has attracted the attention of both Leeds United and West Ham, and the Black Cats have enquired about his signature as well.
Roma want to sell their striker permanently despite only signing him from Girona last summer for a fee of €30m.
They want over €27m to sell Dovbyk, as they do not want to record a loss on their books. The report adds Roma also want to sign a replacement from the fee earned.

Leeds United interest has been pushed especially strongly in Italy, however, it’s appeared to be more a case of Roma trying to hype the situation and find a home for a player they want to sell. Similar can be said of the West Ham and Sunderland claims.
