“Unleash the Lobos”: Brazilian athletes and Wolves supporters collaborate to create a distinctive third uniform
A lifetime Wolves supporter has collaborated with the team’s Brazilian players to create a new third uniform. As part of the ‘Unleash the Lobos’ campaign, the team has unveiled its third uniform ahead of the next Premier League season. A ‘vibrant celebration of Brazilian enthusiasm and vitality’ is how some have characterised the new strip.
The strip has “a unique print pattern that pays homage to significant Brazilian landmarks and cultural moments” in addition to the traditional Brazilian colours. Ben Mortimer, a lifelong Wolves supporter, collaborated with SUDU, a kit supplier, to include the club’s Brazilian players in the new design. As a lifetime Wolves supporter, Mortimer remarked, “It’s a huge honour to contribute to a kit that will forever be etched into the club’s history.”
It was amazing to see how my designs motivated the SUDU team and how they realised those ideas, which led to such encouraging comments from the athletes. In addition, it is truly a dream come true for me to be able to create my own line of t-shirts for the club store. commencing on Friday, August 15, the third kit will be sold online at wolves.co.uk and in-store at the Molineux Megastore commencing on Thursday, August 28.
