However, Wolves have now entered the race as well, viewing the contract uncertainty as a chance to bolster their defence. It might be a very wise option, as the 25-year-old has shown promise when called upon for the Gunners. Kiwior is a talented defender who has represented Mikel Arteta in both centre and left back positions. His poise and technical skill would give Wolves more solidity when they were in possession. Kiwior’s presence would increase competition in the back three because Pereira favours an offensive player on the flank and he is not quick enough to play wing-back in this formation.
Toti Gomes is a leader for Wolves and a vital member of the team, therefore his position is quite assured. Even though Emmanuel Agbadou has had a rough preseason, it’s difficult to imagine him losing out if he regains the level he had when he arrived in January. Yerson Mosquera and Matt Doherty are vying for the right-sided position.
