One of Celtic’s rumoured targets is involved in a conflict with his current club, and the team is still searching for offensive reinforcements.
Last month, the Cluj striker was linked to the Premiership winners; the Romanian team reportedly rejected an offer that was made. Dan Petrescu, their manager, stated that he would speak with the 23-year-old to find out if he was in the right frame of mind to play against Lugano in a European match.
He did play in both legs, and he has since played in league matches against FC Arges and Universitatea Craiova and Europa League matches against Braga.
