Basingstoke Town has made many significant roster additions ahead of their match against Plymouth Parkway today.
Liam Ferdinand was supposed to participate in today’s squad, but he was unable to do so due to a problem with the protective face mask that was necessary because of his recent injury. Once the equipment comes and he can safely resume action, we are sure he will be available.
Charlie Austin tried to demonstrate his fitness on Thursday after taking a knock during Saturday’s game. However, it was decided that he will miss today’s match after receiving medical advice. Ensuring a full recovery and minimizing the chance of making the injury worse are the top priorities.
In the meantime, winger George Reid is unable to play in the Parkway match due to an illness that hit during the week.
James Dickson, who has recently made significant improvement in his injuries, makes another appearance today. Connor Barrett and Ben Cook both rejoin the team.
