On Saturday, Celtic played their first game in the Scottish Premiership against Livingston.
The match took place a few days after the Hoops’ heartbreaking 0-0 draw with Kairat Almaty at Celtic Park in the first leg of the Champions League play-offs.
As Celtic failed to subdue Kairat, the stadium was filled with angry supporters who chanted “sack the board” both before and after the match, amid a dismal transfer window for the team.
Those identical cries were heard at Parkhead during the first-half of the Livingston meeting, while banners were held pointing towards the board before the game.
