Al Nassr lose to Al Ahli in Saudi Super Cup final on penalties despite Ronaldo’s 100th goal for club

After the Saudi Super Cup final ended 2-2 in normal time in China’s Hong Kong SAR (Special Administrative Region) on Saturday, Al Nassr lost to Al Ahli 5-3 in a penalty shootout, but Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player to score 100 competitive goals for four separate clubs.

The 40-year-old’s goal in the first half helped him reach his century with the Saudi team, which he joined in December 2022.

Ronaldo now has 450 goals for Real Madrid, 145 for Manchester United, and 101 for Juventus. The goal also puts him ahead of Isidro Langara, who played in Spain from 1930 to 1948, and Brazilian sensations Romario and Neymar, who each scored 100 goals for three different clubs.

With 138 goals, Ronaldo leads Portugal in international scoring and has yet to win a major trophy in Saudi Arabia.
