Delap, Palmer and Lavia – Latest Chelsea injury news ahead of Brentford clash

Chelsea’s most recent injury updates before their match against Brentford include Delap, Palmer, and Lavia.

After having to play without a complete squad for the first three games of the season, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is looking forward to the return of some of his injured players during the September international break. The Blues are preparing to build on their successful season debut when they play again next week after winning games against Fulham and West Ham United.

After the international break, Maresca’s team has seven games in three different competitions until the next one. This features difficult games against Liverpool, Manchester United, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Bayern Munich. By the time they travel to Brentford on September 13 (8 p.m. kickoff), Chelsea will be hoping to see a decrease in their injury list. The squad numbers of other recent immigrants have been revealed. Liam Delap will wear the number nine shirt, Estevao will wear the number 41, and Dario Essugo will wear the number 14. Joao Pedro will wear number 20, Jamie Gittens will wear number 11, and defender Jorrel Hato will wear number 21.

It is hoped that the January window will not require a lot of business after such a busy summer. Clubs, however, are constantly searching for one or two additions that could have an impact on the season’s second half. There are plenty of squad numbers available for any new winter additions if that is the situation at Stamford Bridge. Here are the numbers that are currently for sale.
