It remains to be seen if he can be successful at Bramall Lane, but he possesses all the necessary skills and will try to get into form for Sheffield United with the goal of playing in the World Cup next summer.

Chiedozie Ogbene discusses his motivation for joining Sheffield United.
After Ipswich Town signed his international colleague Kasey McAteer this summer, the Republic of Ireland player decided to negotiate a loan deal with Sheffield United.
Chiedozie Ogbene had hoped to return to the Ipswich club following a lengthy injury layoff the previous season, but he decided to take a loan deal with Sheffield United in order to continue his recuperation after McAteer’s acquisition.
He told the Irish Independent: “I thought Kasey was a good signing for the club [Ipswich] when he came.” We will want assistance because the Championship plus Cups consists of 46 games. I’ve always liked to play games, but Kasey was a fantastic addition.
“I know it’s self-centered, but I wanted minutes.” My career was improving as a result of this. I desired to grow and concentrate on myself. It was more than simply Kasey. Regardless of who entered, I talked to the manager to get his perspective.
“I didn’t want to miss the chance to be here, and I just wasn’t happy not playing as many minutes, especially after being out for so long.” I am aware of the significance that international football holds for my family and me. For me, it was best.

Ogbene talked candidly about his recuperation from the injury in an interview with the Irish Independent prior to the Republic of Ireland’s World Cup qualifying match against Hungary this Saturday.
“I made a lot of sacrifices to be here,” he added. I had a great preseason and worked hard in my rehabilitation. I played minutes and did my best to earn a name. There are no guarantees. Nothing in this life or on this team is guaranteed to anyone. You still need to convince the management of your worth. I entered the camp as though it were my first time.
“Everyone fights all the time. There are some excellent players missing, so I’m really happy to be here. I secured a spot on the squad, so very talented guys missed out on Festy and Jayson Molumby’s absence.
