JOY: Elliott Moore led the U’s to promotion as captain.

Elliott Moore, the departing captain, claims that his six years at Oxford United have left him with lifelong memories. Although Moore and the U’s mutually decided to part ways on the last day of the transfer window, his contributions to the cause will never be forgotten.
After moving from Leicester in 2019, the 28-year-old defender was named captain in December 2020. Along the process, he scored several noteworthy goals and made 242 appearances. He led Oxford to triumph as captain in the 2024.
