JORDAN Gibson responded to City’s boo boys with another winning performance, letting his game speak for itself. Gibson was once again jeered during his match against his former team in Doncaster.
However, he responded with a goal and an assist, condemning the Bantams to their first loss of the season.
He then delivered a message to the naysayers in the away end. “I take pride,” Gibson added.
“I do not want to be laughed at.
“I’m not going to let people say things and then go home feeling upset about it. I’m going to talk on the pitch and shut them up. It works both ways.
“After the game, one of us will feel down. “It is not me.”

Gibson has been repeatedly targeted when playing versus City for Carlisle and subsequently Doncaster.
He responded to the stick by shushing the supporters after scoring and attempting to lead a chant against him after he was substituted.
“I’d played against them a few times, so I knew what was coming. I assumed they would not have done it, but they did, and it backfired.
“I’ve said it before: it just gives me that extra push and opportunity to shut them up.
“There are 3,000 people chanting, and it’s just me on the pitch. I can take it. It was a pleasant time, and I am really delighted.
“It’s football at the end of the day. I’ve dealt with plenty outside of football, so it won’t affect me.
“I adore playing football, and the atmosphere was fantastic from both sets of fans. Those are the games I enjoy playing, and long may it continue.
“My mother and brother were here. Hopefully, they appreciated it, and I’m pleased to contribute to the victory.”
