3 long-term Sondre Tronstad replacements Blackburn Rovers should consider amid exit admission.
This season, Blackburn Rovers began with a revamped roster, bringing in some new players while saying goodbye to
other key players.
Lewis Travis and Dom Hyam were among those that moved on, being sold to Derby County and Wrexham,
respectively. Despite their significance to the team, Rovers took the difficult decision to cash in and make some
money while they could because both players’ contracts were expiring in the summer.
Sondre Tronstad, a midfielder, appears to be leaving for nothing, though. Given that the Norwegian was bought on a

AIK captain Saletros has the ability to fill the leadership and experience gap in Ismael’s team. He is mostly a box-to-
box midfielder, although he also has the versatility to play deeper or even out on the left.

difficult to imagine a deal going bankrupt, though, and Saletros might immediately establish himself as a major
player.

2024–25 season spent on loan in the Championship with Portsmouth, he has been offered the opportunity to do so.
If Potts doesn’t get any playing time in East London, Blackburn Rovers might jump in with a permanent offer
because he has demonstrated that he deserves to be playing frequently at the senior level. Although he wouldn’t be
inexpensive, the 22-year-old has a lot of potential and might be worth a lot to Rovers in the future.
He might be a great addition to Ismael’s midfield and a seamless replacement for Tronstand, offering both
immediate and long-term promise.
