Dave Edwards is thrilled that a player who “doesn’t get fazed” is rejoining Wolves.

Fans now have a little more hope because Wolves have significantly improved in their previous two games against Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.
After Wolves came agonisingly close to winning the Premier League for the first time against Spurs, drawing 1-1 but playing well, Wanderers defeated Everton 2-0 in the Carabao Cup last week to set up a matchup with Chelsea in the fourth round later this month. Vitor Pereira has been eager to reassure supporters that Wolves will improve after spending more time with the team, and Dave Edwards believes the team has improved since Matt Doherty’s recent return.
For the most part this season, Wolves’ defence has been lacking. However, with Pereira altering the system, there have been improvements in the last two games. With Matt Doherty beginning as a right-back, a position he hasn’t played in a long time, Wolves has started with a back four in the last two games. Many were confused by Pereira’s choice to completely exclude him against Leeds United.
