Footy star Jeremy Howe’s wife Kahlia opens up about her miscarriage for the first time: ‘I blamed myself for losing the baby’

A miscarriage occurred for Kahlia Howe last year.

Following a miscarriage last year, the wife of Collingwood AFL player Jeremy Howe has shared an honest description of the suffering she went through.

Three years ago, Kahlia Howe gave birth to her first child, a son named Zander. Ten weeks ago, their second child, Saxon, was born.

Howe acknowledged that she first “blamed herself” for the miscarriage, which occurred between the two arrivals and resulted in the terrible death of a baby at 11 weeks.

I kind of blamed myself for the baby’s death, which is terrible considering I didn’t cause it. She told News Corp, “I realize now that it wasn’t meant to be.”

“I didn’t let myself grieve or feel depressed about losing a baby because I have Zander, who is very happy and healthy,” I reasoned.

After sensing something wasn’t right, I went to see my obstetrician and ended up in the emergency room the next day.

I want to shed some light so that others won’t feel guilty. People ought to be helped.

The football community celebrated Saxon’s birth in March.

“Congrats, everyone!” In reaction to a social media post at the moment, Channel 7 pundit Abbey Holmes said, “Just beautiful.”

“A lovely little man.” The wife of Port Adelaide star Jeremy, Kellie Finlayson, posted congratulations, darlings.

And Howe praised his wife for her ‘wonderful’ work throughout the birth.

“Mumma did a fantastic job, and she’s a natural mother.” We are eager for him to meet all of our loved ones.

In the meantime, the new mother wrote a charming statement on the internet, saying: “Welcome to the world, little man! You are already so loved!”

“Whenever that may be, your parents are very excited for you to meet all of your friends and family.”

Howe, a crucial defender who was born in Tasmania, joined the Magpies in 2016 after making his AFL debut with Melbourne in 2011.

Howe, 34, is a 2023 Premiership footballer who will be off-contract at the end of the current year.

Collingwood, who is a proud member of “Dad’s Army” alongside players like Steele Sidebottom and Will Hoskin-Elliott, is doing nothing to hurt his prospects of landing a new contract for 2026, though, considering his menacing current form.

Collingwood takes on North Melbourne in round 11 action on May 24 at Marvel Stadium starting at 7:35 p.m.
