Sadílek eyes the door at FC Twente: ‘Germany, Italy and Spain are the best options’.

According to Voetbal International, FC Twente’s Michal Sadílek hopes to leave this summer. The 25-year-old Czech is in his fourth season with Enschede and believes the time has come to take the next step. Despite interest from top Czech clubs, the midfielder prefers a different European challenge.
Sadílek wanted to start a new adventure a year ago. However, a serious bike accident threw a wrench into the works. He missed not only the Euro 2024 tournament, but also the start of this season.
Despite having extended his contract in December, he intends to leave Enschede soon. “I did not want to leave Twente on a free transfer, as some have claimed. It’s fantastic that we found each other through that contract extension. But now is the right time for me to take a step.”
Sadílek hopes to secure European football with FC Twente in the play-offs and end his time with the Tukkers on a positive note. “I’ve had a fantastic time here; Twente is by far the best club I’ve played for. We’re close to the German border, and you can taste the intense football culture here. The club, the region, and the people here are all very important to me.
Sadílek, who reportedly has a 3.5 million euro release clause in his contract, is coveted by Slavia and Sparta Prague, but has not yet expressed interest in returning to the Czech Republic. Clubs from the Bundesliga, Belgium, and Greece are also interested in his services.
“I’ve been in the Netherlands for nine years now, with one season off for a loan spell at Slovan Liberec during his time at PSV.”
“I believe it would be beneficial for me to attend another competition. I believe Germany, Italy, and Spain are the best choices for me. My dream is to play in a top-five competition; in any case, I hope to succeed this summer.”
