Exclusive: Don Goodman warns Leyton Orient of Charlton Athletic that’s not dissimilar to Charlie Kelman.

According to Sky Sports pundit and commentator Don Goodman, there is no player in Nathan Jones’ team who the opposition will be more concerned about than the Addicks’ number 24.
“Orient will be wary of Matty Godden,” Goodman told Football League World. “He’s scored goals everywhere he’s gone, and at 33, he’s ten years older than Charlie Kelman, but they’re similar in the way they sniff out space in the penalty area, know where the ball will drop, and dispatch it.
“Charlton are extremely fortunate to have him, even though he has had some experience. “Orient will make every effort to keep Charlton’s fox in the box quiet.”
Matty Godden has been a brilliant signing for Charlton Athletic.
It was almost certain that once Godden’s move to The Valley was approved, he would be a huge success there. It was always going to be difficult to replace someone like Alfie May, but the 33-year-old is probably the best they could have done.
Godden scored eight goals in Charlton’s last 10 games, bringing his season total to 18.
