Former Rangers director of football Ross Wilson is wanted by League One side Huddersfield Town, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
During his time at Ibrox, Wilson handled numerous signings, including Ridvan Yilmaz, John Souttar, Nicolas Raskin, and Tom Lawrence.
He left Rangers in April 2023, after significant disagreement regarding the success rate of his signings, to join Nottingham Forest in England.
Wilson’s stock has risen as Forest enjoys a terrific season, with a chance of finishing in the top five.
Huddersfield Town is now interested in him, as they want to return to the Championship from League One.

This season, Huddersfield Town finished tenth in League One, well outside of the playoff spots.
They are not just looking for a new director of football, but also a new manager to take over.

Ruben Selles, who was recently fired by Hull City, has been connected with the position, and he has experience managing in League One from a time with Reading.
In the midst of Wilson’s high demand, Rangers have a new director of football in former Everton player Kevin Thelwell, whom they believe will get things right.
Rangers, like Huddersfield, are looking for a new permanent manager to take over at Ibrox, with Steven Gerrard reportedly eyeing a comeback.
