Nottingham Forest’s left-back According to sources who spoke to Football League World, Coventry City and Norwich City are both interested in Harry Toffolo this summer.
Both the Sky Blues and the Canaries will compete in the Championship in 2025–2026. The Sky Blues’ most recent campaign ended tragically in the play-offs with a late two-leg loss to Sunderland.
Norwich, on the other hand, is still without a manager after Johannes Hoff Thorup was fired in April. Nevertheless, the Norfolk team is moving forward with its summer transfer target search and may even challenge Frank Lampard for one.
Harry Toffolo is a target for both Norwich and Coventry this summer, according to sources who spoke to FLW. It is likely that the 29-year-old will be available on a free transfer this summer, as both teams see him as a reliable, seasoned addition to their respective teams.
Toffolo’s contract at the City Ground expires at the end of the current season, and it is quite probable that the full-back will leave the Tricky Trees after three years when Forest confirms their retained list at the end of their Premier League season.
Playoff semi-finalists Coventry are interested in that because they presently have two senior left-backs on the roster in the type of
of Jay Dasilva and Jake Bidwell, who have contracts with the CBS Arena through the summer of 2027.
In the meanwhile, Norwich lost Callum Doyle, their usual starting left-back, to Manchester City this summer when he finished his loan at Carrow Road, and the team seems to be searching for a successor.
Toffolo, who turns 30 in August, has played 102 games for Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United at the Championship level. Under Carlos Corberan, the Terriers team advanced to the 2022 second-tier play-off final before losing to the team he eventually joined, Forest.

Toffolo and Lewis O’Brien were signed by Forest in 2022 as part of a double deal, but as Nuno Espirito Santo’s team has pursued European football, he has recently battled for playing time.
In his first season at Forest, he made 19 appearances in the top division of England. He was able to expand on that in 2023–24, playing in 23 games, 15 of which he started.
It is 2024-25 though where Toffolo has suffered, with just four Premier League outings, with a first start of the season belatedly coming in late April in a 2-1 away win over Tottenham.
Nuno’s ambitions for Toffolo, however, seem to be doomed as Championship teams are seeking to strike, and Forest is expected to boost their squad ahead of their European exploits next season.
