Simon Rusk names his dream Championship signing from Southampton’s squad.

Ross Stewart is mentioned by Simon Rusk as a certain addition during his upcoming Championship coaching stint.
Southampton supporters may have heard the most audacious assertion in a long time a few days ago. Why not? Ross Stewart, the Saints’ injury-prone forward, was predicted to take over as offensive leader under Will Still.
That optimism turned out to be well-founded. That’s because, following a two-year slump, Stewart has started to make a comeback.
Ross Stewart scored his first goal for Southampton’s first team yesterday, on the team’s final matchday of the season. And what better occasion to play Arsenal than one where Will Still, the future manager, was also present?
In the 56th minute, Stewart put a strong header past David Raya to tie the score with the Saints down 1-0. Even though Southampton lost again after giving up a late goal, that outstanding Stewart finish provided supporters a taste of what to anticipate the next season.
In the meanwhile, Simon Rusk, Stewart received a tonne of plaudits for that one goal. In reality, during his final Saints game as manager, Rusk made a bold assertion that needed to be clarified for the supporters in order to explain Stewart’s significance at Southampton.
Ross Stewart is someone Rusk is open to hiring for upcoming managing stints.
When asked if he will sign Stewart during his upcoming Championship managing stints, Rusk acknowledged, “Yeah, for sure,” as reported by the Daily Echo. I believe that’s a platform that might help him create a good rhythm and boost his confidence with his physique.”
In all honesty, even though Saints fans would love to give Ross Stewart all the accolades, they won’t want to part with him now that he’s with Rusk.
The Saints team must keep Stewart after making every attempt to let go of Paul Onuachu. All supporters are eager to witness the forward, who is now playing at his peak in a Southampton stint, in Still’s system that plays to his skills.
Sunderland only returned to the Premier League yesterday, and their former forward Stewart scored on the same day. Hopefully, this isn’t just a coincidence that benefits Southampton.
