FC Twente told stark Robin Propper reality as Rangers defender spotted back in Netherlands.

Robin Propper came to Rangers expecting a foreign adventure that would help him improve as a defender.
After a difficult season in Glasgow, the Netherlands centre-back is expected to leave Ibrox as a stronger individual.
Robin Propper, a 31-year-old defender, struggled to adapt to the demands of Ibrox despite wearing the Rangers jersey.
Propper, a key member of the Rangers defence, has been linked with a move away from Ibrox during a summer of significant change.
And FC Twente has just been informed that they have never replaced the defender, as images of the centre-back in Holland fuel speculation about Propper’s future.

FC Twente ‘yet to replace Rangers defender Robin Propper’
FC Twente were disappointed when Rangers used a release clause to sign Robin Propper during the summer.
The defender was a key player for the Eredivisie club, but the lure of a first move outside of the Netherlands was too much for the ex-Heracles defender.
But what was billed as a dream £1.5 million transfer quickly became a nightmare, and Propper has struggled to find consistency in Glasgow.
By the same token, Twente hasn’t been the same since Propper’s departure, with Dutch journalist Sjoerd Keizer urging the club’s sporting director to finally replace the centre back this summer.
“(Bruggink) actually still has to replace Propper,” Keizer told Voetbal International. “He actually improves the longer he is gone. They really need a leader.
“(Mees) Hilgers is a great player, but he needs a partner. I thought (Mike) Eerdhuijzen was a good footballer for Twente, but he’s moving to Utrecht. Such a strong, robust defender resembles Propper.”
Rangers defender Robin Propper was spotted again in Enschede.
At the same time, Robin Propper has been spotted in the Netherlands, specifically in Enschede.
This is the hometown of FC Twente, who are named after the river that runs through the city.
One Twente fan uploaded a photo to X of Propper being welcomed into a restaurant in Enschede after the Ibrox club’s season ended.
While the photo provides no insight into the reason for Propper’s visit, with the defender now on post-season leave, it has set tongues wagging.
6th-placed Twente are set to finish their Eredivisie season away to AZ Alkmaar, and Propper’s presence in the Netherlands will fuel speculation that he may return to Holland.
It is clear that Twente need to sign a new centre-back, and if a deal can be reached, we do not expect Rangers to be difficult to work with.
Rangers are interested in signing centre-backs, including Cameron Burgess from Ipswich Town and Kevin Boma from Estoril, this summer.
