Ex-Bolton Wanderers defender Adam Senior joins Barnet.

Adam Senior, a former Wanderer, has returned to the EFL after signing for newly promoted Barnet.
The Bees are preparing for life in League Two after winning the National League title by six points over second-place York City.
Following his release from Bolton, Senior has spent the last few seasons at Halifax Town, where he has established himself as a key member of the backline and assumed the captaincy.
In August 2019, the Wanderers Academy defender was on the bench as the ‘Junior Whites’ held Coventry to a goalless draw.

He went on to make a few first-team appearances and spent time on loan at Telford and Halifax before signing a permanent contract with the Shaymen.
“Adam’s a leader of men,” said manager Dean Brennan. “Being so young and the captain of Halifax tells you everything you need to know.
“We’ve had this guy on our radar for a few years. He’s a great age and will bring a lot of quality and leadership to Barnet Football Club.
“We’re thrilled that he chose to sign with us because he had many, many offers, and the fact that he came to us shows that we’re on the right track.

“I’m confident he’ll be a huge asset to the club. Once again, he joined us for the right reasons: football ambitions.”
Senior is grateful for his time at Halifax and looks forward to the challenge of League Two football at Barnet.
“I’m over the moon to get it done,” he was saying. “It’s been a long week since I spoke with the gaffer last Friday, but everything is done now.
“To be honest, I’ve enjoyed every minute of my time in Halifax. I went on loan first, then signed in the summer. I played for them 118 times and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
The defender went on to say, “We should definitely be looking for promotion. For me, I want to finish how I left off last season and carry that into this season.
