With manager Vitor Pereira eager to retain the former Barcelona player at the club, the 31-year-old Wolves captain has a long-term contract on the table.
But in recent days, there have been more and more rumors that he is leaving, with many teams reportedly showing interest in the Wolves captain.
Where would he wind up, though?
However, based on credible rumors, Galatasaray, a Turkish team, appears to be Semedo’s first target and the front-runner for his signature.
The full-back, who succeeded Mario Lemina as Wolves captain, might be paired alongside his old teammate.
Given that they can provide him European football for the upcoming season, the offer might be alluring.
For Semedo, who else is in the running?
Nearer to home, Manchester United has reportedly expressed interest in Matheus Cunha and has already reached an agreement for the defender.
Benfica, his old team, has also surfaced as a possible destination.
In addition to European football, teams in Saudi Arabia and the Major League Soccer (MLS) are reportedly keeping an eye on the defender’s condition.
