According to sources who spoke to Football Insider, West Brom plans to give Paul Bracewell a prompt return to coaching after his departure from Tottenham.
Ahead of the 2025–2026 season, the Championship team is in negotiations to name Ryan Mason, an assistant coach at Spurs, as their new manager.
According to Football Insider, Bracewell could consent to work with Mason at the Hawthorns as part of his new coaching staff.
West Brom sees the 62-year-old as a seasoned player who can mentor and assist Mason, 33.
After nearly five years as Tottenham’s top development coach, Bracewell was fired, according to an exclusive report published by Football Insider on Friday.
After Football Insider initially revealed on May 24 that West Brom had begun talks with the former Spurs player, Mason is currently in advanced talks to become the club’s new manager.

After retiring as a player in 1999, the former England international, who played for teams like Everton, Newcastle, and Stoke City in more than 700 professional games, went into management with Fulham.
The former Sunderland player returned to the Stadium of Light and rose to assistant manager before departing the team in June 2017 after a brief stint in command at Halifax Town.
The Baggies, who finished ninth in the just finished season and missed out on promotion, have been without a manager since Tony Mowbray was fired on April 21 after the team lost 3-1 at home to relegation-threatened Derby County.
Mason presently coaches the recently crowned Europa League champions under Ange Postecoglou.
