The pair has returned to the market following their departure from the Championship team.

After helping Charlton Athletic return to the Championship last week, two former MK Dons players are leaving the team.

Tennai Watson and Chuks Aneke will leave the Addicks after both played in the team’s 1-0 victory over Leyton Orient at Wembley in the play-off final.

Aneke, 31, left Stadium MK in 2019 and spent two stints at The Valley, where he scored 27 goals. With 33 goals in 94 games over three seasons, the striker was a well-liked player in Milton Keynes.

In the summer of 2023, Watson also replaced MK1 with SE7. He took the Addicks on fifty expeditions. In the two years between 2021 and 2023, the wing-back made 70 appearances for the Dons.

Charlton has kept Conor Coventry, who the Dons loaned from West Ham United in 2022.
