
14-year-old boy suffers head injuries in Edgware stabbing; man arrested for attempted murder.
A 14-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after being’stabbed’ on a property in Edgware.
A teenage girl was also minorly injured in the incident, which resulted in the arrest of a 39-year-old man on attempted murder charges.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson stated, “We were called at 5.11pm on Friday, March 7, to reports of a stabbing on Guardian Avenue in Colindale.
“We dispatched resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a fast response paramedic, an incident response officer, and a clinical team manager.”
“We treated a teenager at the scene and took them to hospital as a priority.”
A spokesperson for Met Police stated that the London Ambulance Service reported a stabbing in Edgware at 5.13pm on Friday (March 7).
“Officers responded to a property on Guardian Avenue, NW9, where a 14-year-old boy had sustained a knife injury to the head.
“He was transported to the hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
“In addition, a 14-year-old girl sustained minor injuries in the incident.
“A 39-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.” He is still in custody.
“Police are not looking for anyone else connected to the incident.
