“‘A Shame!’ – Norwich Urged to Reconsider Russell Martin After Surprise Appointment Snub”

Pink Un claims that even though Southampton is looking for a replacement for Johannes Hoff Thorup, the former Southampton manager will not be going back to the team where he once played.

After leading the Saints to Premier League promotion in the past, the 39-year-old was fired from the team in December of last year, and he is currently on the market.

Martin began playing for Norwich in 2010 and stayed at Carrow Road for eight years, making more than 300 games during that time.

No Russell Martin return is a shame for Norwich

Zeke Downes, a fan commentator for FLW’s Norwich, said it’s unfortunate that Martin wasn’t considered as the team’s next manager.

He acknowledged that the former Southampton manager would make a fantastic addition if he were to be considered, but he thinks the team is probably searching for someone with a lower profile who can develop with the Canaries.

“It’s a little unfortunate,” Downes said to Football League World.

Given his connections to the team and his prior elevation, I believe he is the one I would have preferred.

“Plays in a manner that is very similar to ours.

Although it clearly didn’t go well, he has some Premier League experience.

However, he most likely has eyes above Norwich, which may be the reason he hasn’t been called, or it may be partly because things didn’t go well for him at the club when he departed.

Who knows, but they’re presumably looking for someone who can develop with the team and has league experience but isn’t as well-known.

However, I don’t know who that would be, so it’s a little terrible.

We don’t want things to go wrong and ruin our relationship with him and his history at the club, but I would have wanted him.

“So, it feels like it could go on a little while longer, and we don’t really know who will be in charge at the moment.”

With 57 points, Norwich placed 13th in the Championship standings the previous season.
