
A47 closed to traffic following serious crash in Cambridgeshire.
A major UK A-road is closed to traffic after a collision on Easter Sunday (April 20). The A47 is closed in Cambridgeshire. Police originally confirmed that the closure was in effect as of 10.30 p.m. The crash is said to be’serious’, and the route will be stopped for several hours. A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson stated: “A47 is closed between Wansford and Collyweston Crossroads owing to a major road traffic collision. Expect to be closed for several hours. “Inc 436/20th refers.” According to Inrix, the traffic data provider, “A47 in both directions closed due to an accident from A1 Great North Road (Wansford) to A43 (Duddington).”

‘I just heard a big bang’: Neighbours’ shock after unmarked police car left ‘planted’ on pub after horror crash with ‘stolen’ car
Following a horrific crash that critically injured a police officer, an unmarked police car was ‘placed’ in front of a well-known east Manchester pub. The collision occurred just before 4 a.m. this morning (Tuesday, April 22) on Hyde Road in Gorton, one of the city’s busiest routes. At around 3.30 a.m., officers received complaints of a stolen automobile in the Lancashire Hill area of Stockport. A high-speed pursuit began around ten minutes later.
