An attacker from Blackburn Rovers is being watched by a Premier League team.

Journalist Alan Nixon claims on his Patreon website that Arsenal is considering Blackburn Rovers forward Igor Tyjon.

It might be difficult for Blackburn Rovers to hold onto the player this summer. Rovers are getting ready for a Championship season.

The Lancashire team thinks highly of Tyjon, 17, who is predicted to have a great career in the game. His contract with Ewood Park expires in June 2026. Reporter Nixon stated on Patreon that Arsenal wants him in this most recent update on his condition.

In an attempt to sign him, the Gunners are reportedly prepared to spend £1 million plus add-ons.

In preparation for the upcoming season, Blackburn Rovers is looking to add some new players.

According to the Lancashire Telegraph, their manager Valerien Ismael stated last month: “It is evident because, as I say, we are missing some profiles I would like to have in the team.” Although we require that stability, we will have the option to implement that. You want to preserve the work we’ve already done on the squad over the past three months rather than starting afresh. This is our plan for the upcoming season because of this.

Arsenal is interested in Blackburn Rovers attacker Ivor Tyjon.

Last summer, Tyjon received a scholarship offer from Blackburn Rovers. According to The Sun, Manchester United was interested in the Rovers star last season, but he ultimately chose to stay.

Before joining his present team, Tyjon progressed via Rochdale’s academy.  Since then, he has advanced through the ranks and, at the young age of 15, has played for the U21s.

Since then, the adolescent has gained a lot of playing time and established himself as a vital member of the development team. He also has a ton of promise and has already made a few appearances for the first squad.

How is Ivor Tyjon doing at Blackburn Rovers now?

Particularly at such a young age, Blackburn Rovers will not want to lose Tyjon. Although Rovers managed to repel interest from Manchester United, it is still unclear if they will be able to do the same with Arsenal.

They would find it difficult to prevent a transfer to the Gunners. After finishing second to Liverpool in the Premier League table this past season, Mikel Arteta’s team will try to contend for the top spot again the following year.
