Ange Postecoglou reunites with Spurs coaching staff at Nottingham Forest

At Nottingham Forest, Ange Postecoglou rejoins the Spurs coaching staff.

Coaches Mile Jedinak, Nick Montgomery, Sergio Raimundo, and Rob Burch will make up the backroom staff of new manager Ange Postecoglou, Nottingham Forest has stated. In their former Tottenham positions, all four collaborated with Postecoglou, who was named Forest’s new head coach on Tuesday following Nuno Espirito Santo’s dismissal.

According to a Forest statement, “The four are playing important roles within the coaching squad since Ange Postecoglou became the club’s new head coach. “Jedinak, who himself played nearly 100 times in the Premier League and worked with Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur, arrives as assistant coach.”

Forest stated: “Montgomery and Raimundo are joining, both as an assistant coach, having held the same roles under Postecoglou at Tottenham.” According to the midlands team, Burch, who formerly served as Spurs’ goalkeeping coach, will take on the same role at Forest.

16 days after guiding Tottenham to Europa League success, Postecoglou was fired by the club in June. After Spurs finished in 17th place in the Premier League the previous season, the 60-year-old Australian left after two years as manager.
