
Arson probe after derelict Luton house set alight.
The fire service has stated that a house fire in Luton on Sunday (April 27) was deliberately started yesterday, and police are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
Crews were called to a fire on the first floor of a derelict building on Dunstable Road shortly after 11 a.m., when smoke was seen coming from the house.
Firefighters used hoses and fans to extinguish the fire and clear smoke. The service stated that “the cause of the fire was deliberate.”
Bedfordshire Police are now asking witnesses to come forward to assist with their investigation.
