Jordan Shipley, the star of Coventry City, has signed a contract with Port Vale, the League Two promotion champions.
The midfield player signed a two-year contract with Darren Moore’s team, and the Valiants revealed today that he would be joining on a free transfer.

Shipley played for Shrewsbury Town the previous season, but they were demoted, and his contract ended at the end of the season.
Under Mark Robins, the 27-year-old helped the Sky Blues return to the Championship by winning two promotions from League Two and League One.
“Jordan’s signing represents another really strong addition to the squad and we’re all pleased to have him on board,” Vale manager Moore said in reference to Shipley’s arrival.
“We’re excited to have him join us at Vale Park when the players return for preseason training because he’s another player who has played consistently at this level and above.”
Before joining the Shrews in 2022, Shipley played for Coventry for six years and made over 150 appearances in all competitions.
