B B C Sports: Leaburn signs three-year extension at Charlton.

Miles Leaburn, Charlton Athletic’s striker, has signed a new three-year contract.

The 21-year-old has 30 goals in 90 games for the club since making his debut in July 2022, including ten last season when the Addicks were promoted to the Championship.

He came through the club’s youth, is the son of former Charlton striker Carl Leaburn, and was originally signed till the summer of 2026.

According to Charlton boss Nathan Jones, the attacker has a “big future”. “He has to stay injury free, trust his body, trust himself and show the ability he has because he’s a magnificent footballer with a fantastic profile,” Jones told ESPN.

“While he scored some vital goals last season, this will be Miles’ first pre-season while I’ve been here, so this will mark the beginning of his adventure with us. We believe we have unfinished business with myself and Miles together.”
