Young Sheffield Wednesday defender, Sam Reed, has agreed to join Altrincham when his Owls contract expires.
The Star previously claimed that Alty was eager to try to negotiate a deal for the 22-year-old, and it has now been confirmed that they have done so, signing him for the 2025–2026 season.
After it was decided not to renew his contract at Hillsborough, Reed, who had a very successful loan stint with Scarborough Athletic in the second half of last season and put on some great displays for the Seadogs, will now be aiming to continue in Greater Manchester. They are thrilled about it, Altrincham.
