
Blackburn police have arrested a man and a woman who are suspected of affray.
Police arrived on a Blackburn street following an alleged altercation between a man and a woman.
Officers were called to Mosley Walk at 11.30 a.m. on April 28, and two people were arrested as a result of the investigation.
Police have confirmed that there was no shooting, despite residents’ initial concerns.
A 37-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, both from Blackburn, have been arrested and are currently in custody while investigations continue.
According to a Lancashire Police spokesperson, “We were called at around 11.30am today (Monday, April 28th) to a report of an affray on Mosley Walk in Blackburn.”
“Officers, including armed officers, responded quickly, and following an investigation, two people were arrested on suspicion of affray. They are a man, 37, and a woman, 29, both from Blackburn. They are currently in custody.
