Body found in Dartford during search for missing woman

A body has been found in Dartford during a search for a missing woman from Longfield.

The discovery was found in the Green Street Green neighborhood at 7 p.m. yesterday (April 28).

Formal identification has not yet been completed, but the family of a 56-year-old woman who went missing on April 23 has been notified.

In conjunction with the coroner, police are conducting investigations to determine the cause of death.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Officers searching for a missing woman from Longfield discovered a body.”

“Kent Police responded to the Green Street Green area of Dartford at around 7 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, where the death of a woman was discovered.

“Formal identification has not yet occurred, but the family of a 56-year-old woman who was reported missing on Wednesday, April 23, has been notified.

“Enquiries are currently underway to establish the cause of death in liaison with the coroner.”
