Boss Linked With Leicester City Not Looking For Championship Job
After hiring Steve Cooper at the start of the season, Leicester City replaced him in the middle of the campaign with Ruud van Nistelrooy because they were dissatisfied with his performance.
With 18 points from 34 games, Leicester is currently ranked 19th in the league table after Van Nistelrooy was unable to turn around the team’s performance.
With four games left in the season, Leicester City was relegated, casting doubt on Van Nistelrooy’s future with the team.
There have been rumors that the Foxes management is searching through a list of applicants to replace the former Dutch striker.
Additionally, Carsley, who most recently served as interim manager of the England national team prior to Thomas Tuchel taking over, has been connected to the position.
The 51-year-old strategist has coached 31 games for the England Under-21 team since taking over as manager in 2021.
