Bradford City FC Set to Sign Max Power from AGF in Key Summer Move

Bradford City FC is poised to bolster its midfield with the signing of Max Power from Danish club AGF Aarhus, with the transfer set to become official on July 1, 2025. The 31-year-old Englishman brings a wealth of experience, having previously starred in the EFL with Sunderland, Wigan Athletic, and Tranmere Rovers.

Power, known for his leadership, tenacity, and eye for goal from midfield, will add steel and creativity to the Bantams’ squad as they push for promotion next season. His time in Denmark with AGF showcased his adaptability, where he became a fan favorite for his work rate and set-piece prowess.

Manager Graham Alexander has long admired Power, praising his “winning mentality and technical quality.” With Bradford aiming to climb the League One table, Power’s arrival signals ambition from the club’s hierarchy. His versatility—capable of playing as a deep-lying playmaker or box-to-box midfielder—gives Alexander tactical flexibility

Fans have welcomed the news, hopeful that Power’s experience in high-pressure environments will inspire the team. His previous promotions with Sunderland and Wigan highlight his ability to deliver when it matters most.

The deal, reportedly a free transfer following the expiration of his AGF contract, represents smart business for Bradford. As Power prepares for a new challenge in West Yorkshire, the club will hope he can replicate his past successes and become a driving force in their promotion push.

With pre-season approaching, all eyes will be on how quickly Power adapts to life at Valley Parade—and whether he can help propel Bradford City back into the Championship.
