Ben Winterbottom and Ben Mee will depart Brentford when their contracts expire at the end of June, while Josh Dasilva will continue on his rehabilitation from a knee injury with the Bees this summer.
Brentford has confirmed that two players will leave the club this summer. Ben Winterbottom and Ben Mee will leave on June 30 when their contracts expire.
Josh Dasilva’s contract runs until June 30, but he will continue to work on his recovery at the Robert Rowan Performance Centre over the summer.

He last appeared for the Bees on January 31, 2024, after suffering a serious knee injury in training, for which he underwent surgery the following month. We will provide an update on the midfielder in due time.
Mee made 67 appearances and scored five goals since signing for the Bees on a free transfer in July 2022. In his debut season with the club, he missed only one game as the west Londoners finished ninth in the Premier League.
He was voted the Brentford Supporters’ 2022/23 Player of the Year in honour of his outstanding efforts.
The former Burnley defender made 18 appearances last season, scoring in wins over Luton Town and Nottingham Forest, before making 11 more this season, starting in each round of the Carabao Cup.
Winterbottom joined Brentford B from Liverpool in January 2021 and served as a regular trainer for the top team before being formally promoted last summer.
During the 2023/24 season, the custodian was loaned to Welling United of the National League South, where he maintained two clean sheets in 14 appearances.
He played in the National League for Fylde this season, starring 41 times and keeping six clean sheets, but the Coasters were unsuccessful in their struggle against relegation.
Mads Roerslev (Wolfsburg), Frank Onyeka (Augsburg), Myles Peart-Harris (Swansea City), Matthew Cox (Crawley Town), Jayden Meghoma (Preston North End), Ellery Balcombe (Motherwell) and Ryan Trevitt (Exeter City) have all returned to Brentford from their respective loans.
B-team players Michael Olakigbe (Chesterfield Town), Tony Yogane (Exeter), Ashley Hay, and Val Adedokun (all from Cheltenham Town) have also returned to west London after their loan spells ended.
