Brighton star is in ‘a dream’ as Everton change confirmed and ‘dismay’ for Crystal Palace
Due to their selection for Sky Sports coverage, Brighton’s August schedule has undergone two changes.
The team led by Fabian Hurzeler will now travel to Everton on Sunday, August 24, with a 2 p.m. kickoff. This will be Everton’s first
Premier League game at their brand-new Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Albion’s home game against Manchester City will take place on Sunday 31 August, kick off 2pm. Ticket information for both matches
will be confirmed as soon as possible.
Diego Coppola in dreamland as Everton and Man City await

The Italian international defender left Serie A team Hella Verona last month for an estimated £10 million.
For many Italian players, the Premier League is like a dream, so I’m excited to play in the first games,” the 21-year-old stated.
It’s like a dream come true for me because we’ve watched the Premier League on TV since we were young.
“I believe I’m a good fit for the Premier League. I haven’t played against another Premier League team, though. Although I have never
played in the Premier League, I am confident and believe I can succeed.
Diego, who earned his senior Italy debut last month, has had a busy summer.
“June was a really fascinating month. I was called up to the Italian national team for the first time, made my debut, and then made my
second appearance.
“I haven’t had much time to relax, but it’s alright. After that, I attended the U21 Euros and was signed by Brighton. I don’t mind not
getting any sleep in this situation!
‘Dismayed’ Palace consider appeal
After being demoted to the Conference League for violating UEFA’s multi-club ownership regulations, Crystal Palace has indicated
that they are examining an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
After defeating Manchester City in the FA Cup final in May, Palace advanced to the Europa League. However, they failed to prove that
American co-owner John Textor, who also has a stake in Lyon, had no authority or influence over more than one team in the same
league by the deadline of March 1.
Due to Textor’s involvement in both Palace and Lyon, the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) of UEFA decided that only one of the
teams could qualify for the Europa League, with Lyon’s superior league standing displacing Palace’s.

Palace said.
Everyone can tell that we are not and have never been a part of a multi-club business. Furthermore, once the tournament starts, there
won’t be any chance of a conflict of interest because Eagle Football’s shareholding has been sold to Woody Johnson.
“In addition to seeking legal counsel to weigh our options, including an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), we will keep
up our pressure and work with UEFA to secure the fair and just outcome so that we may claim our rightful place in the Europa
League.”
Beram Kayal retires
Beram Kayal, a former Albion star, announced his retirement from playing.
After joining Albion in January 2015, the Israel international played 131 games and was a member of the team that was promoted to
the Premier League in 2017.
The midfield player, who had previously played for Maccabi Haifa, joined from Celtic.
Before scoring his first Premier League goal for us in a 1-0 victory over Newcastle United in October 2018, Kayal made his Premier
League debut under Chris Hughton in December 2017. In the previous game, he had assisted Glenn Murray’s game-winning goal at
West Ham.
In addition to playing for Charlton Athletic and Bnei Sakhnin, the 37-year-old made 47 appearances for his nation.
