Burnley and Crystal Palace have ‘entered the fray’ for player – Negotiations have intensifie

Burnley and Crystal Palace have expressed interest in TP Mazembe teenager Faveurdi Bongeli ahead of the summer.

According to Africa Foot, the DR Congo teenager is expected to make an impact during the summer transfer window.

They say that the 18-year-old midfielder is having a successful season with Tout-Puissant Mazembe, which has sparked interest from various clubs.

Several clubs in England and Germany have already taken note of him, including Burnley and Crystal Palace. Dunkirk in France, as well as Sint-Truiden, were earlier thought to be interested in him.

However, Burnley and Crystal Palace have ‘entered the race’ for the midfielder, vying with Borussia Mönchengladbach. Talks over signing the kid are thought to have picked up in recent days.

It is unclear if Burnley or Crystal Palace are now in the lead, only that they are both interested in the youngster and that a little struggle is brewing for his signing.

Now, we’ll take this with a grain of salt because Africa Foot has spent the last few months tying numerous young players to Premier League clubs with no further developments.
