Zian Flemming has been officially confirmed as a Burnley player after a successful season-long loan move from Millwall.
Flemming’s loan deal from Millwall ensured that the 26-year-old would become a Burnley player, regardless of whether the Clarets earned promotion.
However, the club has now officially verified the story, announcing that the Dutchman has signed a four-year contract that will keep him at Turf Moor until 2029.
“It feels really good to be honest,” he told Clarets+ about the transfer.
“When I joined last year, I knew I was going to sign permanently in the summer, but I’m delighted to be here full-time now.
“I’ve thoroughly loved my first season. On and off the pitch, it’s an incredible dressing room to be a part of, and I’m looking forward to the next years.”
The attacker had a successful season for Scott Parker’s team, scoring 14 goals across all competitions in 37 appearances.
Despite being predominantly identified as a number 10, Flemming was Burnley’s main striker for much of the season.
He will now look to make a similar effect in the Premier League next season, which will be his debut season in the top tier.
Confirmation of Flemming’s move comes after Bashir Humphreys, Jaidon Anthony, and Marcus Edwards’ loan deals were made permanent at the end of the season. All four players have signed four-year deals with the club.
