Burnley transfer news: After signing his first professional contract, the young goalie responds

With the arrival of young custodian Oisin Cooney, Burnley has officially announced their new addition.
The club has previously revealed that Cooney will be joining Andy Farrell’s U21 team after he came from Finn Harp.
After a fruitful trial period, he was awarded a contract through the summer of 2027, with an additional 12-month club option. This is his first deal as a professional. “I’m delighted to get the deal over the line,” he said in response to the move on the club website. A football team is very unique because of its members, and I felt quite welcome from the moment I came through the door. I’m eager to get started right away because Burnley has a fantastic football culture and a clear path to the beginning squad.

Cooney is a senior member of the Donegal-based team. At different youth levels, he has also represented the Republic of Ireland. The date and ticket information for Burnley vs. Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup have been finalised. Adult tickets cost £15, those over 65 cost £10, those under 21 cost £10, and those under 18 cost £5. It has been revealed that the Clarets will play Cardiff City in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, September 23, at 7:45 p.m. Click here for additional information.
