Cajuste’s Ipswich strategy delays the Besiktas-Napoli deal.

With Ipswich Town and Besiktas both eager to finalise a deal with the Partenopei, Jens Cajuste, who is anticipated to depart Napoli during the summer transfer window, now has two firm choices.

Both Besiktas and Ipswich are advocating for Cajuste.
According to Football Italia, Besiktas has been attempting to reach an agreement with Napoli for the midfielder Cajuste’s services. Cajuste played the 2024–25 season on loan at Ipswich Town in the Premier League.

Despite their efforts to reach an agreement with Napoli, Besiktas has not yet finalised a contract with Cajuste.

Despite being relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2024–25 season, Ipswich has made another attempt in the final few hours to recruit the 25-year-old using a different strategy.

Cajuste is thus expected to take his time and consider his best course of action.

Whether Ipswich will pursue the Sweden international in discussions is still up in the air.
