Celtic have received a €2m offer for defender Gustaf Lagerbielke.

Braga offers €2 million for Celtic defender Gustaf Lagerbielke.

An offer of two million euros has been made to Celtic for the defender Gustaf Lagerbielke.

After being sidelined by injuries and being loaned to FC Twente in the previous year, the Swedish player, who had joined the club in 2023, is now 25 years old.

Celtic would incur a rare financial loss as a result of the bid from Braga, as the player was acquired for a fee of three million pounds.

According to Fabrizio Romano, who reported the offer on X, “SC Braga have sent an official bid worth €2 million for Gustaf Lagerbielke to Celtic, negotiations are ongoing.”

“The player’s keen on the move.”

The manager Brendan Rodgers does not think highly of Lagerbielke, despite the fact that he still has three years left on his contract.

In a few of the early games, the center back shown some promising performance; however, injuries hampered his progress.

The Dutch club took him on as a loan as he fell further and farther down the pecking order.

In the event that the transfer is approved, Lagerbielke’s two-year tenure at Celtic Park would come to an end.
