The Celtic board always appears to divide opinion.
Every summer transfer window, there appears to be a sense of discontent among Celtic fans that the powers that be are not bold enough in the market.
Celtic then go on to win title after title, including 13 of the previous 14 crowns, whether under Brendan Rodgers or Ronny Deila.
The similar story appears to be circulating this summer, especially with many anticipating a significant and imminent transfer outbound.
Nicolas Kuhn will leave, but Celtic need to’strengthen’ their team.
If Nicolas Kuhn does leave Celtic, it will be the club’s most high-profile departure during the summer transfer window in 2025.
Como, managed by great footballer Cesc Fabregas, appear to be close to signing Kuhn. Hugh Keevins believes Kuhn will ‘undoubtedly leave next week’, but he urged the club to invest the ‘£25 million’ they have available to’strengthen’ the squad, citing the sum the German may be sold for and the £10 million Celtic earned for Kyogo Furuhashi in January.

“In football, comfort zones are dangerous,” remarked Keevins.
“Celtics have won 13 of the last 14 titles. “But Kuhn will probably go next week.
Greg Taylor has left. Kyogo left and was not adequately replaced, leaving Celtic with a team in need of renovation before the season begins.
“Without Greg Taylor and Nicolas Kuhn, the roster is lighter than it was at the end of the season.
“Financially, if you add the money from Nicolas Kuhn to Kyogo’s transfer fee, they have received £25 million.
They can easily afford to bolster a side that must compete in a Champions League qualifier before gaining access to the tournament’s riches.
What areas do Celtic need to strengthen? Given that Celtic will not lose another significant player, Rodgers will need to address multiple spots.
Everyone knows Celtic has the money; it’s about pushing the boat out, and fans may have to wait till everyone knows which European competition the squad will compete in.
In any case, it’s clear which posts will need to be filled by the end of August.
