While Coventry City fans are still eagerly awaiting news on the club’s first new signing of the summer transfer window, the club’s Midland rivals have already started their business.
The Sky Blues resume matchday bragging rights and banter with two of their big local rivals next season following Leicester City’s relegation from the Premier League and Birmingham’s promotion back to the Championship, with both expected to be contenders in the division.
Although Frank Lampard has been linked with a number of players, so far it’s been all quiet at the CBS Arena. And while there haven’t been too many deals done elsewhere in the division with many players still on their summer holidays, some of City’s rivals have managed to get one or two over the line early.
