Charlton Athletic are considering a move for Blackpool winger Rob Apter, according to Football Insider.
Charlton Athletic are gearing up for Championship football after winning the League One play-offs. CAFC has exciting days ahead of them, and its recruiting drive has already begun.
Nathan Jones will have faith in many of the Addicks group that sparked their second-tier comeback, but the assumption is that the club requires more depth and Championship experience to be ready for the jump.
The South London club will be looking to add some potential players who can develop into significant assets, and one ace who fits that bill is winger Rob Apter.

CAFC manager Nathan Jones is said to have identified Apter as a key target to improve his offensive ranks, but he may face a difficult task in luring him away from Bloomfield Road, with Tangerines boss Steve Bruce a major fan.
Apter has been at Blackpool since the summer of 2019 and is now under contract with the League One club until 2027.
A solid breakthrough season for Blackpool
Apter began his career in the Tranmere Rovers youth before joining Blackpool, but it was at Prenton Park that he initially made his mark in the English Football League.
After impressing on loan at Bamber Bridge, Chester, and Scunthorpe United, Charlton Athletic target Apter returned to Tranmere Rovers for the 2023/24 season.

In 40 appearances for the League Two team, he scored 13 goals and assisted six times, earning him a senior role at Blackpool for the previous season.
Apter was a consistent contributor for Bruce, scoring eight goals and providing eight assists in 50 games across all competitions. He was primarily deployed on the right flank, although has also played centrally as an offensive midfielder and on the left.
Is Apter the right fit for Charlton Athletic?
Apter is a gifted player who would make an interesting addition to Charlton Athletic’s squad. As a winger, he would add to an area where CAFC lacks depth, with only Kaheim Dixon a natural fit on the right.
However, it should be remembered that wing-backs were used extensively previous season. This is a standard formation for Jones, and it may not suit an out-and-out winger like Apter.
Thierry Small, who has since joined Preston North End, played on the right flank and occasionally moved inside to the left to play as an inside forward, but he also had defensive responsibilities.
To get the most out of Apter, he would require consistent defensive cover behind him to allow him to develop and maximize his game.
