After winning the Play-Off Final the previous season, the Addicks are putting a lot of effort into building a team that can contend in the second division the following year. After defeating Leyton Orient at Wembley, Nathan Jones’ team earned promotion, joining Wrexham and Birmingham City.
Sonny Carey of Blackpool has already signed a contract with them and will join them in nine days when his current one ends.
However, if they can ward off interest from other sources, they could be able to add another free player to their roster this summer.
