Christian Dodd, Falmouth jailed for 13 years for rape
A man from Falmouth has been jailed for 13 years after being found guilty of sexual offences against a woman.
Christian Dodd, aged 46, previously of Cliff Road, will also sign the Sex Offenders Register for life.
Dodd was arrested in August 2022 after police received a report of rape. He admitted in police interview that the woman had not consented and told officers “he had no excuse to do what he had done”.
Despite the comments, Dodd went on to plead not guilty to the offences and stood trial at Truro Crown Court in May 2025.
